Most independent retailers already own their POS. Whether you’ve been on NCR Voyix ISS45 for fifteen years or you just installed Radiant last quarter, S4 plugs into what you have. No rip-and-replace, no migration of historical data, no forced upgrade to a different hardware vendor.

NCR Voyix ISS45 (V7 & V8) — S4 Back Office is built with native ISS45 promotion support, including the ISS45 General Batching System for item maintenance and promotions. Full support for ISS45 Standard and Advanced promotions.

ScanMaster — Direct ScanMaster integration for item, batch, and promotion flow.

LogiVision — Native LogiVision interface for back-office workflows.

IBM SA/ACE and IBM — Long-standing IBM integration. S4 has written software for IBM POS platforms since the company’s beginnings.

NCR Voyix Radiant RPOS — Direct Radiant integration, especially relevant in the convenience-store vertical where Radiant is dominant.

Retalix / NCR Voyix Retalix — Retalix integration alongside ISS45 — S4 was certified on the Retalix family before the NCR Voyix acquisition and continues to support it.

ScanMaster, ACS-IR, RPOS — Supported alongside the platforms above.

S4 EzScan — S4’s own light POS for stores that need a minimal scanning environment.

What “compatible” actually means

When we say S4 is compatible with a POS, it means more than file exchange. We support the platform’s full promotional capabilities — frequent shopper pricing, mix/match, like-codes, threshold rewards, electronic couponing — through whichever interface the POS exposes. Cost and price batches flow through. Status flags are honored. Promotions activate and deactivate at the platform level, not through a workaround.

Scale management

For platforms that need integrated scale support (deli, meat, bakery, produce), S4 connects directly to Ishida scales through SLPV-5, plus limited interfaces to PLUM and ADC scales.
