Promotional analysis

Every promo you run leaves a data trail. Analysis pulls together what happened to a promo’d item: units moved, dollars in vs. dollars discounted, lift versus the prior period, and how the rest of the basket changed when the promo was active.

The point isn’t a single answer; it’s a consistent way to compare campaigns over time and across stores.

Ad markdown analysis

For items pulled into a weekly ad, Analysis surfaces what each markdown cost and what it returned. A persistent feature in independent grocery is the temptation to keep running the same ads because they “feel” effective. The data sometimes agrees. Often it doesn’t.

Item and department trend movement

Beyond individual promotions, Analysis exposes the direction items and departments are moving in. Trend movement gives you forward-looking insight: which categories are accelerating, which are decelerating, and where to look next for action.
